My name is Sam Chapman, and I have been a mathematics tutor for over 7 years, providing students of all levels and ages with top-quality, one-on-one math education. I graduated magna cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2019, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, and a minor in music.

I worked as an instructor and Lead Instructor at Mathnasium for 6 years including through the COVID-19 pandemic. This job taught me patience and compassion for all those struggling with their math classes, as well as how to tailor my explanations and examples to the particular needs of each student. That's why I love one-on-one tutoring, because each student is a unique individual who brings their own strengths to the table.

The pandemic forced me to really learn the ins and outs of online tutoring, which along with my 6 years of previous experience as a private tutor, has made me an excellent resource for online mathematics lessons--though I still do provide in-person lessons if you would prefer!
